ABOUT THE ARTIST

I am an artist based in San Diego, California.

I have a degree in business and finance, but I discovered a few years ago that my real passion is making art. I am a published artist and have illustrated two books. I love to travel and visit natural landscapes and national parks .I love to be surrounded by nature at all times as it gives me a sense of calm and joy.

My passion is to make nature-based paintings, both landscapes and florals. I am well versed in acrylic, oil and watercolors but right now my main medium for painting is acrylic paint. I feel that acrylic paint provides me with time and grace to think and regroup my ideas . I find it to be a very forgiving medium because as an artist it is important for me to be able to go with my intuition and feelings so that I may divert from initial plans as dictated by my heart and mind.
